Sunday A day of Not Knowing is Scary

Hello again, everyone! Hoping all of you had a great weekend.

I spent yesterday with my dad trying to finish my apartment. My dad has built an apartment above our barn for when I go to college so that I feel more independent being on my own. We were creating the kitchen area right now, I found this beautiful recycled cherry wood flooring. I am helping him to place it on the floor through out the apartment. Then I wanted an accent wall of the wood paneling. I loved spending the day with my dad because I had this feeling that I was not going to be around the house that much longer. That scares me to death not knowing my future whether it is here or somewhere else. I am not one to plan I usually plan for the day not the week, I am just not that type of person. But it is scary not knowing what could happen day to day.

"Dad do you know things ahead of time sometimes?" I asked him

"It is called intuition! But no I have not really experienced it before, why?" he asked back

"I don't know! I have been experiencing all these feeling that are confusing me!" I told him

"UH, is this the talk because if it is you need to ask your mother not me!" he said

"Dad, no I am just confused about things that are happening and it is scary!" I told him pushing him

"Only you can fight through your fears! Julia just stand up to your feelings or fears." he told me. My dad is a typical man try to back out of a serious conversation. But I loved my dad for spending this time with me. He is a busy man being the sheriff and his only deputy just left the department. So he is currently interviewing applicants, it has not been going so well.

Dale Wholeheart, is a large man he is 6'5" and 295 lbs. He gives the best bear hugs in the world. When you need one and he wraps his arms around you you just melt into him. That is my dad a big old bear full of love for his family, now see him at work he is stern and scary. But I have to laugh at him because I know the truth!

Well got to get back to work, talk to you later!
