Yesterday's college interview went well! I checked out Ohio University (OU), home of the Bobcats, it was a nice campus, let me emphasize nice. Yes I did the cliche thing and wore the school colors. I had on a pair of white dress slacks and a green dress shirt, after I got to the University and saw that everyone else wore the same school colors as myself, I felt so stupid. I wanted to run and put my head in a hole somewhere!
OU, had beautiful brick builds that looked like they have been there forever, just like the buildings some of the walkways were lined with brick to. The landscaping of the walkways were lined with trees and very green grass it was so beautiful. The inside of the buildings had a modern touch to them. I loved it!
The woman I spoke with in admissions was tall and slender, she wore a pencil skirt with a white dress shirt. She was very easy to talk to, which made me feel so relaxed through out the interview. It took a couple of hours, then a few more to due the entrance exam. I did as I have always been taught to do, I thanked her for her time and gave her a firm hand shake, she told me that I should hear something in a few days.
This may come across as crazy but every time I have had an admissions interview and during the tour, I swear to you it feels like someone is following me. I also get this creepy feeling every time I get out to the parking lot, like someone is there watching me. Whatever it is just me being overly cautious just ignore what I said. I am going to meet up with my friends for lunch today and compare notes about the different schools we have visited. It will be myself, Rose, Heather, and Heather! I can not wait to tell you about the two Heather's. That is what me and Rose call them! They are wild, and crazy but they are the best friends that anyone could ever hope for.
