Time To Meet Rose

Exciting news!

Okay followers I am so excited the inside of the book is complete now on to covering it and then the final approval by me I am so excited!!! It is almost completed....This has been quite the journey, it has been up and down but it is finally coming to an end. I hope you all love the final product when it is done. I thank you all for the love and support you have all given me, and I hope to see you at some events that I am hoping to attend.

Fighting these feeling...

“I know! But I know nothing of relationships or sex. So how can I make you happy or satisfied?” I said putting my head down again. He grabbed my chin lifted my head up and said “I think I should be the one to worry about making you happy and satisfied, so you stop running to Ryan! No matter what you do you will satisfy me in every way possible.” he told me as he leaned in for a kiss. I was right by the sink on the island and I flipped the water on cold and grabbed the hose and sprayed him.

“I win!” I laughed and Detective O’Connor looked at me shocked then wrestled me for the hose. My hand was clamped on the sprayer and we were soaking wet. Then I heard detective O’Connor’s breathe suck in, he had a clear and direct view of my breast through my white t-shirt. We both are breathing hard and heavy, with the look of want in both of our eyes.

“Julia, we cannot! I will not be able to control myself without completing the binding spell” he said. I started kissing him soft and sexy, he pushed his tongue in my mouth and his kiss had so much want, and need behind it. “MMMMMM!” is all I heard from him. He grabbed me up again took me to the stairs and told me to go first but I did not want to let go, because if our contact is broken he may come back to his senses and stop what we are doing.

“Stop!” he said frustrated leaning his head on mine. “Damn it, Julia! Give me this one request Julia and wait please!” he begged in a whisper and stepped back from me.

“Ok!” I said. Then I stepped closer to him gave him a gentle kiss on his lips, damn he is breathtakingly beautiful and he is all mine, this is going to be hell.

“Ahhhhh!”I screamed as he grabbed me, he told me to get some clothes on. He walked away from me to the backdoor to get some fresh air. When he came back in I was on the couch curled up watching a movie.

“Hey!” I said

“Hey!” he said back

“I am sorry for being pushy I will respect your request until the binding ceremony. When is the binding ceremony by the way?” I asked

“Tomorrow night actually!” he said laughing “Julia it is not your fault it is both of ours. Being together like this is hard for me to not touch you, and the same for you. Our feelings are so strong for each other. Neither of us have had a relationship with the emotions we feel for each other.”

Best night of my life...Just being with him!!

“I just want to feel your hands on me not energy but your physical hands, please! You have me craving for it. I have things happening to my body that I have never experienced before and don’t understand.” I’m confessed. Looking at detective O’Connor just gives me all those feelings that are confusing and embarrassing for me to talk about. He touched my face then asked me to give the element back to the goddess, I did has he asked.

“Julia I think we should wait until we can control our emotions for one another, and you need to eat something!”  He said as my stomach rumbled from hunger. Getting up from the bed he heading down the stairs. My mouth dropped open at him fleeing yet again. That is it I am going to drive him crazy to the point where he has to touch me. So I said “Fine!” he glared back at me from the stairs.

“Hand me the candles! Julia, do you forget that I can hear your thoughts, I will be able to restrain myself!” he said firmly as if demanding me not to even try. But he does not know me that well, because I do not give up that easily.

As we got to the bottom I brushed by him and said “Try to restrain yourself if you can!”. I shook my ass all the way to the kitchen to light the candles, as I grabbed them out of his arms when I walked by. 

“Would you like a drink?” I asked so that he would have to look my way.

“Yesssssss……..!” he said holding out his S then that sound came out of him again as he got a good look at my backside as I reached the glasses. “Julia! You have to stop provoking me, we cannot!” he said.

“What are you talking about I just asked if you wanted a drink!” I said like a little school girl.

“Julia fine if that is how you want to play it! Yes I want a glass of white wine those glasses are on the third shelf, step stool to your right!” he said with a smirk and nod.

So the game started! I got the step stool and climbed it; grabbed two glasses down. Poured his wine in his glass, and I got juice because I do not think I will drink again for a while. “Holy crap my head is woozy!” I thought. I took it back to him in the living room, as he grabbed it I felt the tension.

“Where is the food you made?” I asked because honestly I was really hungry.

“On the stove is some tomato soup that I heated up, and a turkey sandwich in the refrigerator.” He said without taking his eyes off of my legs.

“Thanks! Come sit with me so we can talk?” I asked him grabbing his hand and pulling him with me. 

I heated up the soup again and sliced the sandwich in half. I took it all back to the island and stood across from him. We talked about me growing up and why I did not ever really date anyone. I told him “School was my focus not boys and sex, unlike Rose and the two Heather's. I really buckled down focused on my goal of becoming a detective.” He was glad about me not being interested in dating. 

He told me “I have a younger brother and sister in Savannah, Georgia. My sister’s name is Jorge, she is 18. She will not go through her change for another year. My brother Jacob is 15, and a sports fanatic. My parents Raymond, and Terri were as great as yours. My mom is a secretary and my father is a firefighter. I have no crazy stories of horrible parents or sibling rivalries but I do miss them.”

“Can I ask you a personal question?” I asked nervously

“Yes anything! I have nothing to hide.” he said with his hands doing an open book move. I laughed and threw some of my crust that I took off my sandwich at him. He caught it and eats it!

“How many relationships have you had before me?” I asked looking at my plate because I did not want to see his reaction. I felt him move toward me from around the island. His hands on my hips, he spun me around and lifted me onto the island. Looked me straight in the eyes and said

“Many! But they meant nothing you are my mate you are my whole world.”

Water Element and Detective O'Connor that is a heady mix!

“Yeah take what you need!” he said and turned back to finish cooking

I grabbed a pair of boxer shorts and a t-shirt out, went into the bathroom. I was horrified at the raccoon eyes that were looking at me from the mirror. I grabbed a wash cloth and cleaned my face off, pulled my hair up in a messy bun and changed into the clothes I grabbed. I decide to leave my bra and panties on though. I walked out placed my clothes in the drier and went to the stairs. As I went up I came upon a platform bed the frame was black, the mattress was covered in a beautiful white downy comforter with fluffy pillows in an assorted colors. “God I want to be in that bed right now!” I thought to myself, I saw the cabinet by the window and walked over to it I opened it and saw the candles along with matches. I grabbed the blue ones since I was with water element tonight. I shut the door to turn to the stairs when I saw out the window a group of men and women looking up at the condo. I sucked in air so fast it took my breath away, they are here. I dropped the candles on the bed as I started to back up to the stairs when I felt him behind me.

“Do not move! I saw the lights pull in when you were going up stairs. I turned the food off and came up here to make sure you were quiet.” Detective O’Connor said with heavy breathing I think from my body being so close to his. “We need to get down low!” I did not hesitate I crawled on the bed but I could hear him growl at the sight of my ass in the air. He came down beside me; we were staring at each other in the eyes so intensely.

“Water comes to me and my mate, veil us from harm!” I whispered I could feel the water creep up the bed like a heavy comforter covering us up for bed.  Detective O’Connor grabbed me and turned my backside to him and kept his arm around me. I think I felt a twinge of excitement behind me. I heard the door open downstairs and a male voice “Benjamin you go upstairs and check I will look around for evidence of them down here.” an older male voice said.

“I do not think O’Connor would be that stupid to bring her back here knowing we were behind them. He probably switched cars and took her back to the protection of the coven.” I think it was Benjamin’s voice.

“Does it look like I care what you think? Do as you are told go look upstairs.” the older male said

“Whatever!” then we heard him coming upstairs. I grabbed Detective O’Connor’s arm to wrap it tighter around me as I gasped and started to shake. “Julia, I got you don’t worry I will not allow any harm to come to you!” he whispered to me in my ear. Then Benjamin was at the bottom of the bed!

“Julia, O’Connor are you here? We have some questions for you we are not here to harm you I promise!” Benjamin said sarcastically “I can sense you here Julia! Come out, come out wherever you are!”

I started to sob; Detective O’Connor kissed my neck and held me even tighter than I thought was possible!

Then they left an hour later after looking everywhere around the apartment!

“Julia, I think it is safe! We can get up now!” O’Connor said in a light caring voice removing the pressure of his arms around me.

“Please, please do not let me go!” I said as I turned into his arms and sobbed hard.

“Julia it is going to be ok, I got you. I will never let you go!” he said placing a kiss on the top of my head and squeezing me tighter. “I will always protect you! Tell me you trust me please baby I need to hear you say it!” he pleaded for me to say the words. I lifted my head to look him in the eyes and rubbed my right hand down the side of his face. Do I trust him to protect me? If I did then why am I hiding my plan from him? But I need to give him what he needs from me right now in this moment.

“O’Connor, I have never trusted, needed, loved, or wanted anyone more than you!” I told him swallowing hard after I just said the L word. “When I am with you I feel like the weight of this change is gone and I can focus on us. But I need you not to lie to me if you can do that for me, than I will do the same for you!” I said

“Julia I have not lied to you I just do not give you all the details, but lie never!” he said as he started to kiss the tears from my cheek. “By the way I trust, need, want, and love you just as much!” he clarified his feelings to me as well. “But you know we cannot do anything until the binding ceremony to completed the binding fully. So, whatever you are thinking cannot go that far, no matter if we both want it too!” He said with a smirk, wiping the tears away that ran down my face.

Incantations...Invisible...Energy casting!!!!

“Julia, he is not our focus but he will not be alone look around with your mind to find the real threat. Then create an incantation for your element and send it out hard.” Alaina told me “Good Luck! Blessed Be!”

I closed my eyes arched my back as he reached for my breast. “I am going to close my eyes and looked around!” I said. His head flung up you can do that?”, “Yes” I whispered as I closed my eyes concentrated and pushed out ripples of energy to see of any movement and sure enough on his right there I could feel the dark energy invading our space. “I ask of the goddess of the west to help guide me in the protection of myself and my mate.” I whispered and continued with the incantation “Blue is blue, and black is black wash the black way back!” it sounded cheesy but a rush of water flew out of my hands and blasted the man in the shadows to the right and it washed him all the way back a couple of blocks. Detective O’Connor grabbed me and shoved me in the car and took off!

“How did you do that or know what to do?” he said

“I just do it! It comes to me when I need it!” I told him

“You can travel awake? When did this start?” he asked

“The first event; The Sacrifice, since then I still talk to Amelia!” I told him

“Why did you not tell me or your parents? This means a whole new way of going about protecting you!” he stated

“I did tell mom but I do not think she is really hearing anything she is in shock! Did you go down to the casting circles today?” I asked him as he spun around the corner to his condo.

“Yes, I knew when I saw the circle with your name and the sheer size of it that we were going to be seeing things that have never been seen before. But I do not understand one thing yours glows of gold light and Alaina’s glows silver but of the many great ones we have lost the light is dark but hers is not!” He said looking confused

“Who is Alaina?” I asked

“Alaina was our Grand High Priestess; she went missing several years ago. She is thought to be dead! But I am not so sure anymore! Have you seen or heard anything from her?” Detective O’Connor asked while parking the car.

“Goddess of the West I ask to use the element of water as a veil to protect our presence here at Detective O’Connor’s residence.” I felt the water from the west and asked it “Water from the west wraps your element around us to protect us from harm.” as I finished the incantation the water came around us and wrapped us in a veil of nothingness. Detective O’Connor looked at me grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the car and took me into his condo. When we reach the door the water unwrapped us and rolled up the windows. Detective O’Connor bent back to look at the window and then looked at me.

“What is it?” I asked

“I cannot see you in the condo! I am looking in the window but it looks like no one is here!” he said shaking his head and walking in the condo. “How is this possible?” he whispered I think it was meant for himself not for me to answer that question.

“To answer your question from before I have not talked to any Alaina, I am not sure what she even looks like to even know if I have seen her in my dreams.” I told him trying to really making it not sound like a lie. I feel horrible lying to him but I cannot involve them.

I walked through the entryway to see a studio lay out condo with exposed brick and ventilation shafts. Modern yet vintage furniture. I have been here once before but in a dream, I really did not get a good look then but it is a beautiful space. “Do you want some water or coffee to help sober up more? Or are you hungry?” O’Connor asked

“Honestly I feel hungry, I do not feel to drunk anymore but I am sure I will feel it in the morning.” I told him giggling.

“I hope not because it is our day tomorrow!” he said with a smirk “We need to keep the lights off so can you light some candles while I start cooking?”

“Yeah sure where do you keep the candles?” I asked

“Up in the loft, in the cabinet next to the window, but try to stay away from the window; I know your water element has a veil over the windows but just to be safe, OK?” He said with concern

“Ok, I will be right back!” I said as I walked to the stairs that looked more like a ladder. I walked through the living room and made a left to the bathroom first. I was still soaking wet from the club, so I needed to dry off. “O’Connor are those drawers your clothes?” I asked looking back at the kitchen pointing to the dresser by the bathroom.

“Yeah why?” he said with a glare

“I need dry clothes do you care if I steal a shirt or something?” I saw him swallow hard from his visual that he would so love to see.

Things are going from bad to Worse!

“Bye Ryan!” I smiled at him gave him a wink grabbed Detective O’Connor’s hand to help me up.

I gave Rose, Anthony, and the two Heathers’ a hug goodbye. I noticed Rose was looking at me really weird when she bent to hug me she said “We need to talk about tonight!” I smiled and shook my head. Detective O’Connor said goodbye and walked me to his car.

“You are with Water element Julia! That is why this happened; you risked the coven and yourself tonight!” He said angry

“What! How do you know this?” I asked him shaking

“I asked everyone at the club and they said you took the brunt of the water but then it was like you pushed the water out of your hands onto everyone. What did you think about before this happened?” He asked

I decide not to lie “I thought that myself, Ryan and everyone in the club could use a cold shower!”

I could feel the anger before he talked “Now why would you need a cold shower for Julia!” He asked

“You really want to go there? Fine! I was grinding my ass on Ryan and then I felt that he enjoyed it and that made me think of you in the bathroom earlier this evening. I could not help the thought then all I wanted to do was have your hands on my body. There are you happy that is what I was doing!” I said laughing because I was embarrassed.

“I understand you want to get me back, I really do! But honestly I am upset that Ryan was grinding on you and had his hands on your ass. Do not let that happen again. You are mine not his I am your protector he can stay back and do his job from a far. The only dick you will feel from here on is mine do we have that straight?” He said

“That all depends on your behavior from here on!” I said knowing that will have to hurt him soon enough, but I will make sure I am one not to forget.

“Julia, do not play with me! Something is happening and I think you know what is going on, talk to me let me help you. I had to say an incantation at the club and alter their view of what happened so it did not expose us.” He said

“I am sorry for my selfishness but you and my parents do not talk to me. I got frustrated and needed to blow off steam. As for what I know and don’t know is not for you to know! I have the people that I can trust helping me and that is all I need!” I told him “How did you know I was with water?”

“Your mother called and said that you left a blue and yellow candle lit and the yellow was almost burnt out so she blew it out but the blue had not melted and it would not allow her to blow it out. Which meant that you were with that element. I told her I would keep an eye on you when I saw you here with him and Rose asking you if Ryan was the lucky one! What was your answer?” He asked

“I do not know yet we would have to see!” I told him feeling his anger grow again.

He blow out air hard place his hands in his hair and turned his back to me “Julia, I need and want you as much as you want me! I have decided to move to your house to be close to you! So those people that you think you can trust allow me to be one of those. I can help you! But you have to understand that by me moving to your house there is a price I have to pay. That is I have to give you a chance to live your life until we were supposed to actually meet. That way you have time to experience relationships and memories with your friends. But I do not know if I can stay away from you indefinitely when you look like this and you keep doing the shit like the this evening.” Detective O’Connor said frustrated.

I pushed out the water from my hands spun him around and let the water move over his body like it was my hands I can do this to you with my element, just like you with your energy to me. I do not want to be without you in my life. Can you feel the heat in my water that is how hot I am for you, always! You consume my every thought and action. What I do and How I act is for you, my family and our coven. I want to tell you but I cannot. You have to trust me on this, I will tell you in time I will let you do what you need to do but you need to let me do what I need to do I have the feeling that in the end we will meet at the same spot.” I told him. He was groaning from my water element touching him. I pulled the water element back and walked to him place my arms around his neck and pressed my lips to his kissed him soft yet hard enough to let him know how I feel. As I opened my eyes there was Benjamin O’Rourke at the gate watching us. “Do not look back I ask of you just act like we are getting hot and heavy. Please trust me on this!” I told him

“What is it Julia!” he asked as he leaned into me kissing my neck and his hands went to the hem of my shirt. How can I concentrate on what I need to do with him touching me like this. I cleared my mind

“Alaina, Benjamin is here watching me, what should I do?” I sent to her

Everyone got that cold shower...What just happened?

“The cold water line busted and sprayed you in the face and with your drinking you slipped and hit your head on the wall!” The man said

“I’m sorry who are you?” I asked

“Sorry, I am Jack Blue, the owner of this club!” He said

What they were saying made no sense because Ryan was behind me and I somehow deflected the water from us. “Where is Ryan?” I asked

“He is over there on his phone! He is very concerned for you.” Heather Peterson said

“Heather can you have him come over here?” I asked her

“Ma’am, can you sign this liability form saying that you do not hold me responsible for this incident that happened?” Mr. Blue asked

“No she will not! You are responsible for the pipes breaking!” Heather Patterson said then she started to speak about business laws and establishment responsibility. Now that is why she is going to make a killer lawyer.   

“Heather goes get Ryan! Yes I will sign Mr. Blue.” I told him still slurring from my many drinks that I had.

“Thank you Miss Wholeheart, You and your friends have no cover charge here ever and your first two drinks are on the house every visit.” Mr. Blue said

“Thank you!” I said as he was walking away.

“Julia, you OK!” Ryan said as he bent down to hug me

“I think I used a lot of energy to deflect the water, and I passed out!” I whispered

“Yes but you did not deflect the water, you soaked the water into your hands then it was pushed out onto the crowd. I need to tell…” he started to say

“What? How is that possible, I …..” I started to ask when I see over his shoulder Detective O’Connor. What the Fuck!

“Julia, I think we need to leave!” O’Connor said

“O’Connor I can take her home!” Ryan said

“I think you have done enough and touched enough, don’t you!” He said with pure anger

“What the Fuck dude, have you been watching us?” Ryan spat at him

“You have my mate with you all day; then she sneaks out with you, did you not think I was going to find her.” he growled under his breath in a warning that no one would hear.

“Ryan, thank you for today but I will go with Detective O’Connor. I will see you tomorrow at the next event.” I told him

“No you won’t it is about the eternal mate, it is you and him all day! Call me if you need me, but text me that you made it home!” He said

O’Connor looked at him “If you think I am taking her home drunk off her ass you are crazy. She will stay with me! I have called her parents and I told them I have found her in the city. They know she is safe with me.”

“Fine, Julia I will call you tomorrow!” Ryan said then he bent down and kissed me on the lips so soft and sweet.

Cold shower anyone?

Rose laughed and put her hands up as if surrendering, I laughed as she walked away. “The Heathers’ have several drinks for you at the table so we will need to go and catch up when the song is done.” he said

“Ok!” I told him. We laughed and danced for a couple of songs by the second song Ryan was comfortable enough to place his hands on my ass. I did not move them I just let him keep them there I knew he would not try anything unless I initiated the first move.

“Let’s get those drinks!” He said we started to walk back to the table when I felt his energy behind me then a hand that I felt wrapped around my hip and grabbed me around the waist and pulled me back to him.  

“You are mine!” he said as his hand grabbed me I gasped at the energy he was pushing toward me.

Ryan spun around and asked “Are you ok!”

“Yes, I twisted my ankle when I spun around!” I said with a giggle

I shot back to O’Connor “You could have been with me earlier; you chose to walk away as usual! Now leave me alone!”

I reached the table and everyone started chanting to “Chug, Chug, Chug, and Chug!” I did as I was told. You know those drunken goggles they give you in drivers Ed to see how it is to drive or walk drunk I think I was so drunk I was passed even that stage of drunkenness. I grabbed Ryan’s hands and told him I wanted to dance, Ryan pulled me into his arms and we danced next to our booth in the corner of the club. It was a fast song I watched Rose and Anthony who was getting X-Rated in the booth and the two Heathers who was getting it on with two random strangers each on the dance floor. I spun around on Ryan and started to grind and move my ass on his private area. I have never danced like this before and I hope I do not look like an idiot but I am at that drunken stage where everyone thinks they can dance and don’t care what anyone thinks. But I could tell Ryan liked it because Ryan’s soldier was at attention.

I thought how everyone in this club could use a cold shower, then the next thing I knew we were being sprayed down with cold water. I placed my hands up to protect me and Ryan when the water bounced off my hands as if the water was coming out of my own hands and sprayed everyone on the dance floor. Rose looked up from the booth at me with wide eyes. “Julia, How the hell…” was the last thing I remember. I woke up to Rose shaking me awake “Julia, Julia, wake up!”, then I heard “Miss are you ok?” As I blinked back from the blackness; I see Rose, Anthony and the two Heathers around me, but at my feet there was a man short, in a suit and tie, dirty blonde hair, with great bone structure along his jawline.

“Yes, I am fine what happened?” I asked

Night out on the Town!

The drive into Columbus was a quiet one. We got to the Blue Room, Rose, Anthony, and the two Heather's were waiting on us in the parking lot next to the nightclub. It was a 21 and older club, in downtown Columbus, Ohio. The outside of the building was black, but the door was lit up blue from the lights around it. Rose handed me a fake ID that looked nothing like me, then she went to hand Ryan one but he refused and said he already has one. She gave him a look of surprise, and I laughed because I knew he did not have one because he was as much of a goody, goody as me. Ryan took my hand to make sure we were the first in line and everyone else behind us. We finally after forty minutes in line got up to the bouncer who was a stocky, short, slightly built man. He had green eyes and olive colored skin, the guy behind him was a tall black man, a lot more built than the shorter man. Ryan handed him his ID and bent to whisper a spell “What you see, is what you get times six!” I knew it was an incantation because he knew the ID’s would not pass their inspection. I looked back and told them that we will get a table and meet them inside, Rose waved us on.

Ryan grabbed my hand and we headed to the back corner of the bar where we could see a table open. It was dark with blue laser lights everywhere, the waitresses came by and gave us a blue glow necklace with our first order that we placed with her for a beer and a strawberry margarita. I looked around to see women grind on men, women grinding on women, and men grinding on men. I have never been to an environment like this before. It smelled of a mixture of sweat, perfume, cologne, and something else but I could not put my finger on it. The waitress came back with our drinks, she was cute blonde hair, heavy makeup and dressed in a cropped black t-shirt (cropped like right below her breast), a blue G-string that stuck out of her low-low rise jeans black jeans and killer blue heels with spikes all over them, she looked kick ass! Ryan had given her his credit card and said to start a tab; she nodded and walked back to the bar.

“Well let’s see what this is all about, shall we?” I asked Ryan who was staring at me.

“We shall! You ready we are going to drink at the same time, OK?” Ryan said

“Ok! 1...2...3! Tip!” and we tipped together.

The strawberry was present but the liquor was more potent than any other flavor. Ryan said his was better after the third drink I laughed. Rose, Anthony and the two Heather's’ met us at the table; I guess they had to stop at the bathroom before coming to the table. Ryan told them he started a tab and to get what they want. Rose grabbed me and pulled me out of the booth to dance.

“SO WHAT IS GOING ON?” Rose Yelled over the Music

“WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?” I asked yelling too

“YOU NEVER DO CRAZY THINGS AND NOW YOU ARE DRINKING, SNEAKING OUT, AND MEETING UP WITH RYAN WHEN I KNOW YOU AND MR HOTTY HAVE SOME SERIOUS TENSION TOWARD EACH OTHER!” Rose yelled

“MOM AND DAD ARE ON ME ABOUT LIVING MY LIFE, MAKING MEMORIES WITH MY FRIENDS, AND EXPERIENCE RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER GUYS BEFORE I GET WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS SUCH STRONG FEELS FOR ME AND HAS MORE EXPERIENCE THAN ME. BUT YET THEN THEY PUT ME ON LOCK DOWN AND THEY HAVE LIED ROSE LIED TO ME ABOUT EVERYTHING!” I told her

Then I heard him “No Julia she cannot know anything do not say anything she is not ready to know!” O’Connor said quickly. The music slowed down so it was not that loud right now, we could speak normally. Rose looked confused! “Jewels what do you mean they lied?” she asked. I decide to change the subject, and now that I knew Detective O’Connor was here watching I was dead set on making him jealous!

“Sorry, Rose I am just being a whiner! Tell me about you leaving for Florida, are you ready to leave?” I asked

She laughed because she knew what I just did “Yes, I am ready to start this next chapter in my life! But I have this feeling that me and Anthony will not make it forever together! It is strange I have been having these dreams that seem realistic! I am talking crazy anyways, you have gotten your sneaking out cherry busted, and drinking cherry busted tonight! Do you think Ryan will be the lucky one?” she said poking me in my hip!

“Rose, let’s see how tonight goes!” I said feeling O’Connor getting pissed off.

“Hey it is my turn!” Ryan said as he glided in front of Rose taking my hips into his hands and started swaying.

How can I not hurt everyone I know!!!

“No, I thought I would get myself under control before I tried to talk to you again.” he said

“Really, so you make me feel things that I have never felt before and your answer, as always is to run. I need you, and I want you with me but when you run it makes me think you want nothing to do with me. So that makes me run elsewhere! I do not want to hear what you have to say I think we both need to calm down get our priorities straight then see what we both want and talk tomorrow.” I said

“No, you will talk now! What are you playing with? Who is showing you these spells? And why the fuck, are you dressed like that?” Detective O’Connor asked I could feel him getting pissed off

I gasped at his tone “Are you serious right now, you do not talk to me like that and you do not get to ask fifty questions because you will not like the answers. So LEAVE ME ALONE!” I yelled and energy exuded off of me and blows out toward Detective O’Connor he flew back and hit the closet door with a huge boom, then he was gone! I am sick of everyone hiding things from me I need to get out of here.

I went out the window and down the ladder before my parents came to see what happened. I looked up as my dad poked his head out the window to look for me, but he could not see me. I ran down the driveway as I got to the end I could see Ryan’s truck lights coming down the street. I start to walk to the end of the property when I heard “STOP! Wait for him to get here before you cross the barrier of the protection shield.” Amelia said. I did as I was told, Ryan pulled up and was looking for me when I stepped through the shield my veil lifted and he could see me.

“How, How did you do that?” he asked

“Family secret!” I said laughing because of the look on his face

I felt an overwhelming feeling of sadness and I knew Detective O’Connor knew who I was with.

“This is going to kill me to hurt my family and Detective O’Connor!” I sobbed with a look of regret on my face. Ryan grabbed my hand and squeezed “I will be with you through it all Julia, you will always have me by your side! Now let’s go have some fun and forget all this for a couple of hours!” Ryan pulled away as I shook my head yes.

Time to get this plan moving!!

A shiver ran down my back as I walked over to grab my towel and robe off the door. I wrapped my robe around me and put my hair up in a towel. Then I felt his energy come up to my back. I could feel his fingers wrap around my waist and squeeze me to him. Even though he was not physically here I could feel his hands and arms like he was. I felt him kiss me on the shoulder and the top of my back. My breath was fast and heavy all at the same time. “I want this, I need this, please come to me!” I said breathy and forgetting about what we were just arguing about. Then I felt him pull away and say 

“Damn it we cannot!” and he was gone. I do not know what just happened; but I am pissed and aggravated that I am left feeling like this. “Fuck you, O’Connor!” I yelled and that was it I decide to do this all on my own.

I dried off and went to my room, as I walked past the stairs I yelled at my parents “Check the water heater, I think I just burnt off two layers of skin.” then shut my door. I sat in front of my mirror and wondered why does Detective O’Connor want me, I am nothing special and if there was not a connection would he still want me! I know we were born for each other and he is my eternal mate (which I still do not understand). Blah, blah, blah, I just cannot help wondering why me.

I pulled off my towel, grabbed a pair matching white lacy bra and panty set out of my drawer and put them on. Then I grabbed a blue tank top and white sheer shirt that was long in the back and cropped in the front, it kind of hung off one shoulder. I grabbed a pair of jeans that Rose gave me she said they made my ass look good. So I pulled them up and put on my shirts, the jeans did look good they looked frayed and ripped. The fit was a skinny jean fit, so I thought my wedged sandals would make me look taller and my legs look killer when I wear them. I went back over to my vanity and started my make up, I did earth tones and a pink lip gloss with a heavy liner. Then I fishtailed my hair down the left shoulder, with a few wispy hairs spiral curled. I took a selfie and posted it on my social media page labeled as “This is the new me, Bitches!” as soon as it loaded I got a response.

“Damn girl when you go bad you really go bad! You look bad ass. Love it!” Rose posted

“LOL, Love you too! See you soon.” I posted back.

I looked at my phone to see the time, it was 6:00 pm, Ryan will be here soon. I looked out my window when I came home earlier I placed the ladder at my window so I can get out. I need to get heading down to meet Ryan, but since mom told me that the video showed the dark magic coven was at the border of the property I do not know how I was going to mask myself to sneak out so no one would see.

“Repeat after me!” I heard her voice in my head as smooth as chocolate pudding

“Amelia” I said with comfort

“Yes, I will guide you, do you trust me?” She asked

I did trust her; right now she is the only one I did truly trust! “I do, truly I do trust you! What do I need to do?” I asked her

Burn a blue candle for water, and a yellow candle for air. Air will blow to wind outside and the water will blur you out until Ryan arrives.” she told me

I went to the hall closet and opened it; the blue candle was on the bottom shelf the yellow candle. I grabbed them and took them back to my room. Then Amelia gave me instructions on the spell.

“Goddess from the North allow Air to blow, blow, blow to cloak me from evil sight, Goddess from the West allow Water from the West to shield me as I need you to keep me safe.” she explained. So I light the candles and stood to the Northwest as I repeated the spell. But as I finished the spell I could feel the air blow straight down from above me then shoot out my window, then from my left I could feel the spray of water as it wrapped around me in a veil.

“Thank you goddess for the uses of the elements you have blessed me with, blessed be!” I said allowed. Then from behind me I heard something bump my bed side table and I knew she was here. “Shit!” Amelia said “Remember to repeat when you come home so that you are shielded from the dark magic coven. “Blessed be!” she said and was gone.

“What the hell are you doing Julia?” the male Irish accent rang loud in my head

“Oh so you decided to come back, did you! Are you watching me, stalker?” I spat at him, where I could see the energy in my room.

I hate arguing with Detective O'Connor...But I like it at the same time!!!

I turned on the shower to get ready for tonight. As I stepped into the shower the water cascaded on my back and felt so good. As I turned to face the shower head I let the water run down my face to clear the tears from it. This argument gave me an excuse for me to sneak out tonight, but I still feel bad for doing it. I was upset to find out that Detective O’Connor was worried, sad and confused about why I left to confide in Ryan. But I am glad my mom put the reasoning like she did so I can use that at a later time as my excuse for my plan. I start to feel sad again that I will have to hurt them in order to keep them safe. I grabbed the shampoo when I felt a breeze come in the shower. “Hello! Is anyone there?” I asked

“Why? Why did you leave with him, Ryan?” he said in my mind

“Why do you have to ask, you left me last night then you have not been around when I needed you. He was here for me and willing to listen to me and talk to me, so I left!” I told him knowing that was a lie, I want to tell him that I have no feelings for Ryan that he is the only one that consumes my every thought but I can’t it has to be this way.

“Julia, I am sorry I was presented with some information that I needed to think about and then I came across something today I needed to investigate! I am sorry I should have been here for you but I was not and for that I am truly sorry.” he said

“Yes and what was that information?” I asked knowing he would not tell me.

“I do not have all the answers right now; I will tell you as soon as I have the answers. But I ask that you stay away from Ryan, he can protect you from farther rather than closer.” He said

“Are you kidding me right now? And you wonder why I went with him you just answered that question you do not talk to me, you try to handle everything on your own. You and my parents do not let me help, this is my life and “my change” and I am in the dark about it. You guys are pushing me away and fast. So I will go where I can get answers.” I said as I finished in the shower but I was getting so pissed off that the water felt hotter like skin blistering hotter, so I had to jump out.
